At the end of 2025 we made the difficult decision to call time on our membership community The Hub. Over the years we did our best to serve self-builders and retrofitters, mapping out the journey, providing resources and lending support wherever we could. However creating high performance, low carbon homes is still a small market and we failed to grow the membership beyond a certain level which is why we’ve decided now is the right time to bring things to a close, once and for all.

Thank you to all of our members over the years and we hope we’ve helped to ease the journey, aid good decision-making and inject a bit of fun. Finally, if you’re thinking about starting a project or are currently underway, then we want to wish you every success. Creating a healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient home is life-changing. You can do it!
